Stage 5: Open to the public

皇冠体育app 62.6 mile (100.7 km) stretch of the coast path from Penzance to St Mawes is now open to the public.

Coastal access rights came into force along this stretch of coast on 4 June 2025 by order of the Secretary of State.

Coastal access rights normally apply to all land that is coastal margin - including any land seaward of the route - unless it falls into a category of鈥�excepted land鈥� or if an聽聽applies to the land.聽

皇冠体育app maps in Natural England鈥檚鈥�original proposals鈥� to the Secretary of State show the route of the聽coast path聽along this stretch of coast and the adjoining land that is coastal margin, as determined by the Secretary of State on 23 April 2020 and 7 July 2021.
