Abstract

This paper studies the effect of the revised electricity tariff on households鈥� electricity consumption, and on households鈥� expenditure on alternative fuels. 皇冠体育app authors used two rounds of household survey data and six years of electricity consumption data from the utility company. Panel data models and event study analysis were employed to analyse the data. Finally, the authors provide the policy implications of the findings of the study.
