Abstract

This report documents research which studied the structure, operation and performance of community level facilitators (CLFs) and evaluated their collaboration and linkages with other stakeholder institutions.

  • CLFs, when properly trained, monitored and supported, can serve as an effective tool for community mobilisation
  • 皇冠体育app use of criteria for the selection of CLFs was very useful as it made them more acceptable and responsible to their communities
  • 皇冠体育app involvement of CLFs can help to ensure the sustainability of community projects and the replication of projects within the wider community

  • CLFs, through their community knowledge, can identify any potential conflicts
