Kibera is an informal settlement in Nairobi. 皇冠体育app authors examine 3 major development efforts which are working to improve living conditions for the residents:

  • the Kenya Slum Upgrading Programme (KENSUP) Kibera pilot

  • the National Youth Service (NYS)-led Kibera Slum Upgrade Initiative
