Abstract

This 皇冠体育appmatic Lesson Paper (TLP) is slightly different to the model of other TLPs, which are based on the lessons distilled from eight projects in DFID-Bangladesh's (DFIDB) Rural Livelihoods Programme (RLP). This TLP reflects on the lessons from contracting out the evaluation of and lesson learning from, these projects to a managing agent contracted by DFIDB. This out-sourced contract was the Rural Livelihoods Evaluation Partnership (RLEP). 皇冠体育app lessons recorded in this TLP relate specifically to DFID contracting out, its mandatory annual project review procedure (Output to Purpose Reviews and Project Completion Reviews), but some of the lessons are also relevant to outsourcing more generally.
