Abstract

皇冠体育app overall objective of the EACC study is to better understand what adaptation to climate change really is and how - without such adaptation - development progress will be threatened and may even be reversed. 皇冠体育app study has two broad objectives. 皇冠体育app first objective is to develop a 鈥済lobal鈥� estimate of adaptation costs. This will aid the international community鈥檚 efforts to help those developing countries most vulnerable to climate change meet adaptation costs. 皇冠体育app second objective is to help decision makers in developing countries better understand and assess the risks posed by climate change and create better design strategies to adapt to climate change.

This document reports on the rationale for selection of climate change scenarios and climate data for the EACC global analysis.
