Abstract

皇冠体育app presentation first considers Multi-Scale Integrated Analysis of Farming Systems, and how to look for relevant types and categories, which can be bridged among levels and scales. An overview is then presented of the results from two case studies, one in Wuhan, Hubei Province in China, and the other in Nam Dong District, Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam. Lessons about the methodology are identified under the topics: Interfacing the analysis of 鈥渉ousehold and village metabolism鈥� with that of 鈥渆cosystem metabolism鈥�; Benchmarking; Multi-Objective Integrated Representation; Studying the mechanism establishing links over quantitative analyses carried out across different dimensions and scales; and 皇冠体育app possibility of developing a multi-scale integrated analysis and characterization of scenarios on which scientists with different disciplinary backgrounds, and social actors with legitimate but contrasting points of view about sustainability, can sensibly discuss.
