Small, high powered magnetic products can be easily swallowed and, when ingested, have the potential to cause serious internal injuries within the gastrointestinal tract. 皇冠体育app buttons on the jacket detached at forces of 36 卤 0.4 Newtons (N) and 19 卤 0.2N, both of which are less than the specified minimum of 90N. Both the detached components fitted wholly inside the small parts cylinder, and therefore pose a potential choking hazard to a child under 36 months. Phthalates were also detected in the clear plastic material from magnifying glass. 皇冠体育app sample exceeded the specified maximum limit of 0.1% by mass of the plasticised material, as the sum of the four phthalates. A young child playing with the toy is exposed to the phthalates which can potentially harm a child鈥檚 health either via cancer or non-cancer effects.
皇冠体育app product does not meet the requirements of the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 and of the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals (REACH) Enforcement Regulations 2008.
