皇冠体育app UK鈥檚 participation in Expo 2020 Dubai consisted of a self-build country pavilion and an accompanying events and content programme. Our participation theme was 鈥業nnovating for a Shared Future鈥�.

皇冠体育app UK Pavilion offered visitors a unique experience, building on previous award-winning installations at Expo 2010 Shanghai (皇冠体育app Seed Cathedral), Expo 2015 Milan (皇冠体育app Hive), Expo 2017 Astana (皇冠体育app Yurt) and Expo 2019 Beijing (UK Garden and Pavilion). 皇冠体育app UK Pavilion highlighted leading British expertise in sectors including artificial intelligence and space. It also provided a platform for a six month programme of business, cultural, educational and tourism activity.

鈥楥onnecting Minds, Creating the Future鈥� was the overarching theme for Expo 2020 Dubai. 皇冠体育app UK was one of 192 nations participating, alongside non-government organisations and sponsors.

皇冠体育app site was split into 3 districts:

• Opportunity

• Mobility

• Sustainability

皇冠体育app UK Pavilion was in the Opportunity District.

Millions of visitors attended the event, including members of the public, global heads of government, business leaders and celebrities. This major world event promoted the UK as a global hub of innovation and a world leading destination for trade, investment, education and tourism.

皇冠体育app Department for International Trade (DIT) is leading the UK鈥檚 participation in Expo 2020 Dubai, with support from the GREAT Britain Campaign and five other co-funding government departments.
