[This request follows on from a previous request: FOI 0401, 鈥楽IA door supervisor applications and revocations since 2017鈥橾
I wish to know how many individuals who had their SIA door supervisor licence revoked in the past 5 years also had a criminal record (when their licence was approved).
2. Response
I can confirm that the SIA does hold this information.
This is a count of revocations by calendar year and the calendar year refers to the date when the licence was revoked. This criminality may have been self-disclosed, referenced as part of the vetting source criminality check or picked up by an overseas criminality check.
皇冠体育app count is also by number of licences a licence holder has 鈥� so a licence holder who has both their close protection and door supervision licence revoked is recorded as 2 revocations.
皇冠体育app majority of these cases are categorised as 鈥楴ot Relevant (Met)鈥� criminality, where an applicant has a criminal record that is not deemed relevant to their application for an SIA licence.
