Details

This project provides an analysis on new and existing Geographical Information Systems (GIS) techniques for the measurement of site and catchment features. 皇冠体育app GIS provides a data source, a modelling platform and a mapping tool that aim to supply useful improvements to existing fisheries management techniques and have wider usefulness outside the fisheries function. A comparison between data derived from the GIS and existing manual techniques was undertaken. It was shown that in the majority of cases the data was comparable, with successful derivation of the basic map based data using the GIS.
