Fraudulent emails

We have received reports from businesses about fraudulent emails falsely claiming to be from regulated legal professionals including solicitors and barristers. 皇冠体育appse scam messages may misuse the names and contact details of unconnected registered solicitors. 皇冠体育app messages may include their Solicitors鈥� Regulation Authority (SRA) number to promote bogus 鈥榮ervices鈥� and give an air of legitimacy to their activities. 皇冠体育appir communications may also falsely suggest they have an affiliation with the IPO.

Suggested action you can take

Impersonating a solicitor is a criminal offence. We are urging anyone targeted to report this to the police via , or your local Trading Standards office. After obtaining an Action Fraud reference number, you can also report a summary to the SRA. 皇冠体育app SRA also provides and responding to identity theft.
