Purpose
To remind OVs of clarifications that have been issued on how GB health certificates should be completed by our trading partners.
Background
When trading partners ask for clarification on the completion of GB health certificates, or errors are spotted, Defra issues advice and clarifications on how to complete these in Import Information Notes (IINs).
Defra has recently updated 2 clarifying IINs, which contain new information on how we ask our trading partners to complete GB health certificates:
- Clarifying information for imports of animal products - IIN GEN/4 - GOV.UK
- Clarifying information: imports of live animals - IIN GEN/5 - GOV.UK
Actions for OVSs
OVSs are requested to read the IINs and note the information.
