Details

Explains the government鈥檚 responses to the Low Pay Commission (LPC) recommendations. 皇冠体育app LPC has recommended that the hourly rates for the national minimum wage (NMW) should increase in October 2015:

  • from 拢6.50 to 拢6.70 for adults
  • from 拢5.13 to 拢5.30 for the development rate that covers workers aged 18 to 20 years old
  • from 拢3.79 to 拢3.87 for 16 to 17 year olds

皇冠体育app government accepts these recommendations in full.

Government has concluded that the apprentice rate should be 拢3.30. This is an increase of 57p an hour (21%) from 拢2.73 to 拢3.30 for the apprentice rate.
