What you need to know

HMRC commissioned a series of surveys last year to get feedback from you. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp first survey was about your experience contacting VAT helplines. 

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp second survey is now being launched. This will focus on your experiences getting a repayment or refund from HMRC. 

HMRC encourages all insolvency practitioners to take part to drive improvement of the customer experience for the insolvency industry, and to make sure a range of views from the whole sector are taken onboard.

Why HMRC commissioned this survey

HMRC continually monitors the effectiveness of HMRC processes and procedures for the insolvency sector.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýappse checks have highlighted that some insolvency practitioners have experienced difficulties or delays when waiting for a repayment or refund.

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapprefore it is important to gather robust data to support HMRC’s commitment to driving continuous improvement for the insolvency sector.

When the survey for 2025 is available

°Õ³ó±ðÌý will be available from Wednesday 28 May 2025 until Friday 20 June 2025.

What we need you to do

»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýappre are 14 short questions to complete. Your responses will remain completely anonymous. 

What will happen with your response

HMRC will review the responses and use the results to help improve insolvency practitioner experience of the repayment and refund process. �
