1. Full Time Undergraduate Students
1.1 Full Time Maintenance Loans
Maximum loans for living costs for new and continuing full time students who started their courses on or after 1 August 2019 will increase. 皇冠体育app maximum loan for living costs for students living away from home and studying outside London was increased to 拢8,225, for students living away from home and studying in London to 拢10,530 and for students living at home to 拢6,840.
2. Part Time Undergraduate Students
2.1 Part Time Maintenance Package
Maximum loans for living costs for new and continuing full time students who started their courses on or after 1 August 2019 will increase. All eligible students were entitled to the same package of Grant and Loan support, pro-rated according to their intensity of study.
- Students living at home are entitled to a maximum amount of 拢7,840. 皇冠体育app maximum grant is 拢6,885. 皇冠体育app balance to the maximum amount of 拢7,840 can be taken as loan.
- Students studying away from home, in London, are entitled to a maximum amount of 拢11,530. 皇冠体育app maximum grant is 拢10,124. 皇冠体育app balance to the maximum amount of 拢11,530 can be taken as loan.
- Students studying away from home, outside London, are entitled to a maximum amount of 拢9,225. 皇冠体育app maximum grant is 拢8,100. 皇冠体育app balance to the maximum amount of 拢9,225 can be taken as loan.
3. Disabled Students Allowance
- For Full Time Undergraduate students, Non-Medical Helper Allowance increased to 拢22,472, the Specialist Equipment Allowance to 拢5,657, and the allowance for other disability related expenditure (General Allowance) to 拢1,894.
- For Part Time Undergraduate students, the Non-Medical Helper Allowance increased to 拢16,853, the Specialist Equipment Allowance at 拢5,657 and the allowance for other disability related expenditure (General Allowance) at 拢1,420.
- 皇冠体育app maximum Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) for those on Postgraduate courses increased to 拢20,000.
4. Postgraduate Students
4.1 Postgraduate Master鈥檚
From 1 August 2019, Postgraduate students are entitled to a combination of loan and grant. 皇冠体育app grant element is means-tested, with the appropriate amount of loan available up to the maximum total support level. Up to 拢17,000 as a combination of loan and grant for the duration of the course is available.
4.2 Postgraduate Doctoral
No change to 2018/19
