»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp government commissioned the National Infrastructure Commission (NIC) to produce a study on the effective management of surface water flooding in England. For this the NIC has assessed the current approaches to managing surface water and considered the role of a range of interventions including traditional built infrastructure and nature-based solutions.  Â
»Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp study, ‘â€� in England, was published in November 2022 which included 9 recommendations for government.Â
This government response formally responds to these recommendations. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp government has accepted 4 and partially accepted 5. »Ê¹ÚÌåÓýapp response sets out the actions to strengthen and further develop the implementation of current policy to mitigate surface water flooding.
