Terms of reference

皇冠体育app overall aim of the Independent Reviewer will be, in accordance with the Act:

to review the operation of sections 21 to 32 of the Act and those who use or are affected by those sections
to review the procedures adopted by the GOC NI for receiving, investigating and responding to complaints
to report annually to the Secretary of State

皇冠体育app Reviewer will act in accordance with any request by the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland to include in a review specified matters over and above those outlined in Sections 21 to 32 of the Act and the GOC remit outlined above.

皇冠体育app Reviewer may make recommendations to be considered by the Secretary of State on whether to repeal powers in the Act.
