皇冠体育app guidance on related party transactions (RPTs) has been updated to provide greater clarity to academy trusts.听听

A checklist of things to consider when transacting with a related party is now available, which听will:听

  • help academy trusts consider necessary factors when transacting with a related party听
  • ensure transactions are justifiable and are conducted fairly and transparently听
  • ensure conflicts of interest are managed appropriately听

Information:鈥疷pdate to the guidance on charging for boarding school provision

皇冠体育app Department for Education (DfE) have updated the charging for boarding provision: full cost recovery and rate of return, which sets out how state-funded boarding schools should manage and charge for their boarding provision.

皇冠体育app guidance was first published in 2015 and has been updated to ensure links and references to organisations are correct. 皇冠体育appre are no substantial changes to the advice in the guidance.听

Information: In-person training for school and trust business professionals

DfE are looking for trusts to host funded, in-person practical training sessions for school and trust business professionals (SBPs).听

皇冠体育app sessions:听听

  • are available at no cost to you听

  • will run for up to 3 hours听听

  • will be delivered by a trainer from ISBL听

  • are available for up to 30 attendees听

in hosting a session for your own SBPs or colleagues in your region.听听

  • financial planning and budget assumptions听

  • human resource management (HRM) and flexible working听

  • leadership and leading change听听

  • integrated curriculum financial planning (ICFP)听

  • professional development for SBPs听

  • communication and managing teams听

  • strategic planning and operational leadership听

  • procurement and collaborative purchasing听
