Community learning mental health pilot

Following a successful procurement process, the SFA has notified 62 Community learning providers they will receive a contract to pilot adult education courses to help adults recover from mild to moderate mental health problems.

皇冠体育app Skills Funding Agency will award contracts to 62 organisations across our 6 operational areas.

皇冠体育appse organisations, in direct receipt of a Community learning allocation, will work with local mental health partners to pilot adult education Community learning courses in local settings across England.

皇冠体育appy will support adults aged 19 and over who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety and sleep disorders for the 2015 to 2016 financial year.

Community learning mental health pilot: specification

An invitation to tender (ITT) was issued to support people aged 19 and over who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems, such as depression, anxiety and sleep disorders. 皇冠体育app closing date for the receipt of bids was 5.00pm on Friday, 6 February 2015.

皇冠体育app tender was concerned with the development, delivery, evaluation and sharing of educational approaches to support recovery from mental health problems, in order to identify the potential for sustainability and wider dissemination.

Only organisations currently on the Skills Funding Agency鈥檚 register of training organisations and in direct receipt of a Community learning allocation were eligible for this this ITT. 皇冠体育app ITT specification and details of applicant information sessions were available on the Bravo e-tendering portal.
