This report was commissioned by the Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel.

It evaluates the impact of the panel鈥檚 work to support learning from incidents where children have died or been seriously harmed because of abuse or neglect.

• assess the impact of the panel鈥檚 activities and products on child safeguarding policy and practice
• understand safeguarding stakeholders鈥� awareness of the panel鈥檚 functions and their expectations regarding the panel鈥檚 safeguarding systems
• provide actionable recommendations on strategic and operational changes for the panel鈥檚 work, and for evaluating its impact in the future
