This report was commissioned by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and produced by Steer Economic Development (Steer-ED).

皇冠体育app report directly corresponds to DCMS鈥檚 tech priority to level up digital prosperity across the UK. It provides an evidence base for identifying how nations and regions can develop their strengths and level-up further to those areas of existing ecosystem strength, and how and where 鈥榓reas for development鈥 might be progressed. 皇冠体育app report sought to provide a systemic, replicable, and importantly holistic view of how and why digital ecosystems across the UK are performing.

皇冠体育app research itself draws on a range of pre-existing data sets, as well as qualitative analysis from twelve regional roundtables with devolved and local government, business groups, the tech sector, accelerators and universities.

皇冠体育app report found that by continuing to support and strengthen digital ecosystems throughout the UK, Steer-ED鈥檚 indicative modelling projects that the UK鈥檚 digital sector annual GVA could grow by an additional 拢41.5 billion by 2025, creating a further 678,000 jobs.
