Research and development is critical for the success of many of Sellafield Ltd activities to deliver its mission.

It鈥檚 this side of the business which provides the initial research into a problem, and the early development of a solution.

This work isn鈥檛 just done by Sellafield Ltd 鈥� almost half is done in partnership with the National Nuclear Laboratory. Further support comes from a wide range of technology suppliers 鈥� collaborations with the broader supply chain and academic community are essential for Sellafield Ltd鈥檚 success.
