Daniel Shepherd
Biography
Daniel is His Majesty鈥檚 Ambassador (designate) to the Republic of Guinea, arriving at post in April 2025.
His previous postings include Hanoi, New Delhi, the UK Mission to the UN in New York, Pretoria as Consular Regional Director for Sub Saharan Africa, and most recently Kingston, as Deputy High Commissioner to Jamaica.
His assignments in the UK have included Deputy Head of the Counter Proliferation Department, and Head of the UN Department鈥檚 political team.
Daniel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy with Linguistics (First Class) from the University of Sussex.
