Alec Pybus joined the Insolvency Service in September 2016
This is Alec鈥檚 first Government role, having previously worked as an Operations Director at Royal Mail during a period of modernisation and transformation.
Interim Chief Executive Officer, 皇冠体育app Insolvency Service
皇冠体育app inspector general and chief executive has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the service, in line with plans agreed with ministers. As accounting officer, they are accountable to parliament for the service鈥檚 use of public money and stewardship of its assets.
Chief Operating Officer
皇冠体育app Chief Operating Officer reports directly to the Chief Executive and is accountable for the overall operational performance of the insolvency service. This includes the work of official receivers, investigations and enforcement activity such as the disqualification of unfit directors, and statutory redundancy payments from the National Insurance Fund.
