UK - Korea companies explore building partnerships
UK Trade and Investment Manila and Korea Trade-Investment Agency held a seminar to bring together UK and Korean companies interested in PPPs

皇冠体育app UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) Manila, in partnership with the Korea Trade-Investment Agency (KOTRA) recently organised a seminar to bring together British and Korean companies with an interest in public-private partnerships (PPP) and infrastructure projects.
Entitled 鈥淯K-Korea 3rd Market Partnerships鈥�, the seminar aimed to set the ground for British and Korean companies to network, share experiences and collaborate for greater expertise and access to infrastructure projects in the Philippines.
皇冠体育app programme kicked off with a presentation on the PPP project status by PPP Centre Director, Eli Ricote. Department of Transportation and Communication (DOTC) Director Deo Manalo, presented their plans and projects.
UK companies who attended include: Aecom, Arup, Balfour Beatty, HSBC, IMC Worldwide and Rider Levett Bucknall (RLB).
On the other hand, Korean companies who participated were: Daelim Philippines, Daewoo Engineering, 皇冠体育app Export Import Bank of Korea, Hanjin, KoRail, Korea Railroad Research Institute, Kepco Philippines and Shinsung Engineering. 皇冠体育app companies introduced themselves and were provided an opportunity to network and engage in one-to-one business sessions.
