UK Government offers support to narrow down the search for MH370

Following the suspected discovery of debris from the missing Malaysian airliner MH370 on the island of Reunion, the UK has offered expertise from Government hydrographers and oceanographers to help in the investigation鈥檚 analysis.
In 2014, HMS Echo, HMS Tireless and numerous RAF personnel helped in the initial search for MH370. Now, as new evidence emerges our analysts at the UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO) working closely with their colleagues in the Met Office can run a modelling process known as 鈥榟ind casting鈥� to use historical data on ocean currents and survey data of the sea floor to try and establish where debris might have come from.
皇冠体育app team at the UKHO are highly skilled and it is hoped that their technical and analytical experience will narrow the search area for MH370.
