This week Syria dominated the news as violence continued in Homs. Last week Russia and China vetoed a UN Security Council Resolution which demanded an end to all violence. Foreign Secretary William Hague said their decision to do so was a 鈥済rave error of judgement鈥� when he :
鈥淩ussia and China have twice vetoed reasonable and necessary action by the United Nations Security Council. Such vetoes are a betrayal of the Syrian people.
