皇冠体育app British Embassy in Cairo in collaboration with the British Consulate in Alexandria has arranged a capacity building programme for 5 NGOs focusing on NGO governance, fundraising skills and project management.

As part of it鈥檚 continuous effort to empower civil society, the British Embassy in Cairo in collaboration with the British Consulate in Alexandria has arranged a capacity building programme for 5 NGOs focusing on NGO governance, fundraising skills and project management. 皇冠体育app training was hosted by the Consulate in Alexandria from March 10th 鈥� 15th 2014. Participants included Banat El Noor, Early Intervention Unit for visually impaired children with multiple disabilities, Disabled Against Marginalization Initiative, Asda鈥檃 NGO for Hearing Impairment and CARITAS.
Heba Kholeif, a recipient of the British Chevening scholarship, and manages the early intervention unit for visually impaired children with multiple disabilities at Banat AlNoor Association, said 鈥淚t was a transformational training that enabled me to acquire new critical thinking techniques to further proceed with fundraising managements, additionally the training enabled me to network with peers who are disabled, giving us an opportunity to reciprocate鈥�.
Samy Gameel, founder of Asda鈥檃 Organization for hearing impaired children? said 鈥淚 have attended several training courses, yet this was an added value for being tailored and the theme itself empowered me personally and professionally to take my belief to broader perspectives鈥�.
Yvonne Zaafarany, founder of Disabled Against Marginalization Movement, said 鈥淚t was a life changing experience, with all the thanks for the British Consulate for giving me this chance鈥�.
This training session is part of the the Consulate鈥檚 series of communication events called 鈥淓nable the Disabled鈥�.
