皇冠体育app UK Ambassador in Cairo attends the opening ceremony of the smART Mobile Phone Festival
皇冠体育app opening ceremony was held at the Radio 皇冠体育appatre in Talaat Harb, central Cairo.
On Thursday, 20 March the British Ambassador, James Watt, attended the opening ceremony of 鈥渟mART Mobile Phone Festival鈥� at the Radio 皇冠体育appatre in Talaat Harb. 皇冠体育app Festival is a project supported by the British Embassy in Cairo to celebrate the art of filmmaking using the camera of a mobile phone. During the opening, the screening booths for the smART festival were launched and the Egyptian premiere of Salma EL Tarzi鈥檚 long- awaited film 鈥楿nderground/On 皇冠体育app Surface鈥� was shown.
Asked about his thoughts of smART, the Ambassador said 鈥淚 am delighted that the British Embassy is supporting smART 鈥� a wonderful initiative using mobile phone technology to enable people throughout Egypt to express themselves through film. I look forward to the results which I am sure will be outstanding.鈥�
