Over recent years there has been growing interest from British education providers in working with their Turkmen counterparts. On 23 January 2018, with the support of the British Embassy in Ashgabat, a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Turkmenistan and two departments of Cambridge University; Cambridge University Press and Cambridge Assessment English, was ceremonially signed during the World Education Forum in London.

Also present were Mr. Esen Aydogdyyev, Rector of the International University for Development and Humanitarian Sciences and Ms Lachyn Geldiyeva, language instructor, Translation and 皇冠体育appory & Practice Department at the Dovletmammet Azadi World Languages Institute.
