皇冠体育app British Charge d鈥橝ffaires, Mr Martin Reynolds, has welcomed the news that 皇冠体育appir Royal Highnesses 皇冠体育app Earl and Countess of Wessex will undertake a visit to South Africa from 4 -11 October 2013 as part of HRH Prince Edward鈥檚 work with 皇冠体育app Duke of Edinburgh鈥檚 International Award Foundation and its local chapter, 皇冠体育app President鈥檚 Award for Youth Empowerment Trust.

皇冠体育appir Royal Highnesses 皇冠体育app Earl and Countess of Wessex will make a courtesy call on President Jacob Zuma in Cape Town and undertake engagements with a number of organisations that are of interest to them, including a tour of the Constitutional Court with Chief Justice Mogoeng Mogoeng, the British Council-run Connect/ZA project, and a number of events related to 皇冠体育app President鈥檚 Award for Youth Empowerment鈥檚 30th Anniversary in South Africa.

During the visit, HRH Prince Edward will, on behalf of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, officially appoint Miss Natalie Du Toit to be an Honorary Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her contribution to Paralympic Sport.
