Support to Macedonian judicial system in good practice for appointment of judges.

皇冠体育app importance of an efficient judicial system as one of the main pillars of democracy was among the key messages today at consultations held for the representatives of the Macedonian judicial system. 皇冠体育app activity is part of the work of the British Embassy in Macedonia in cooperation with the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors in Skopje and the Macedonian Ministry of Justice for sharing experience on judicial appointments. British experience in this area will be shared by Sir Robin Auld from the Slynn Foundation, and the representatives of the Judicial Appointments Commission, Mr. Justice Wilkie, and Mr Jeremy Brooks.

Our ambassador Charles Garrett shared the opening panel with Deputy Justice Minister Biljana Brishkoska-Boshkovski and Judge Aneta Arnaudovska, Director of the Academy of Judges and Public Prosecutors.

I hope these discussions will add value to your efforts in furthering the independence of justice in Macedonia and strengthening this vital foundation stone of the country鈥檚 future.
