Prime Minister 皇冠体育appresa May held a meeting with Prime Minister Gentiloni to discuss the migration crisis in the Mediterranean.

A Downing Street spokesperson said,

皇冠体育app Prime Minister held a meeting with Prime Minister Gentiloni this afternoon to discuss the migration crisis in the Mediterranean.

皇冠体育app two leaders agreed that a team from Home Office and DFID will travel to Italy to offer expertise on processing papers and other documents to allow migrants to be returned to their source country.

皇冠体育appy also committed to work together to tackle the problem upstream. 皇冠体育appy will work together on how best to spend 拢75million pledged by DFID to help migrants making the journey from Africa to the central Mediterranean route.

皇冠体育app Government has announced some of the money will be made available to fund voluntary returns home for migrants who are making this treacherous journey.
