Organisations to give arts graduates a foot in the door

Four more arts and cultural organisations have joined the DCMS Jerwood Creative Bursaries scheme.

This was published under the 2010 to 2015 Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government

皇冠体育app organisations from across the country successfully bid to be part of the final round of the scheme鈥檚 pilot phase.

皇冠体育appy will now offer recent graduates from less affluent backgrounds the opportunity to work in top arts organisations for up to 12 months and get a crucial foot in the door to help them start their careers in the arts.

  • , a leading contemporary dance聽company of disabled and non-disabled dancers, which will offer a new position as Development and Communications Coordinator
  • , which will provide a new role for an Assistant Producer to support DaDaFest International 2012 in Liverpool
  • Recently re-opened arts centre , which is recruiting for a Creative Arts and Communications Assistant to work on their Arts Champion Project
  • 皇冠体育app in Leeds, which will offer the post of Technical Assistant Stage Manager working on their highly successful touring programme

皇冠体育app , which was launched in November 2010, has provided more than 40 paid entry-level opportunities for talented arts graduates who could not afford to work for free to get on the first rung of the career ladder. It is funded by DCMS and and is managed by the and the .
