Olympic Velodrome up for RIBA Stirling Prize
London 2012 venue and Lottery-funded cultural projects in running for top architecture award.
This weekend sees the award of the .听皇冠体育app Prize is the UK鈥檚 foremost architecture award, awarded by a jury drawn from across the architectural community.听Previous winners have included Herzog & de Meuron鈥檚 , Wilkinson Eyre鈥檚 and , all of which were funded by cash.
Nominated this year are a wide range of buildings designed by UK-based architects, among which are two Lottery-funded cutting edge cultural centres - the new in Stratford upon Avon, and , in the UK鈥檚 , Derry-Londonderry - and Hopkins Architects鈥� .听
