Minister for Europe visits Switzerland

During a one-and-a-half day programme in Zurich and Berne, the Minister met members of the Swiss government, as well as business figures and academics.

皇冠体育app focus of Mr Lidington鈥檚 official visit to Switzerland was the strong bilateral relationship. We have many shared interests in Europe and the wider world. 皇冠体育app economic ties between Switzerland and the UK are strong, and we want them to grow further. In 2011 trade continued to flourish, with Switzerland importing British goods worth 拢5.38 billion and services worth 拢8.9 billion.
