Minister for Europe delivers first overseas speech in Stockholm

Minister for Europe David Lidington met with his Swedish and Polish counterparts before delivering a speech in Stockholm

Mr Lidington delivered his first overseas speech as Europe Minister at the Swedish Institute for Business and Policy studies in Stockholm. 皇冠体育app speech was entitled 鈥楪etting Europe back to work鈥�.

Before his speech, the Minister met with two European counterparts: Birgitta Ohlsson, Sweden鈥檚 Minister for Europe, and Mikolaj Dowgieliewicz, Europe Minister for Poland. Mr Lidington also held talks with Anna Kinberg Batra, Chair of the Swedish Parliamentary EU Scrutiny Committee.
