Manila: Winners of GREAT British Shopping Contest unveiled

From high-end shops in Oxford Street to bohemian boutiques in Glasgow鈥檚 West End, the UK is a shopper鈥檚 paradise.
Two lucky shoppers will experience the UK firsthand in the British Embassy鈥檚 GREAT British Shopping Contest. Meanwhile, other winners will go on shopping sprees for British brands closer to home. Prizes include a trip for two to London courtesy of Etihad Airways with 拢300 pocket money from HSBC; a Php50,000 shopping spree in Marks & Spencer; and gift vouchers of up to Php10,000.
皇冠体育app British Embassy in cooperation with SM Megamall announced the contest winners on December 5 at the trendy Mega Fashion Hall in SM Megamall. Jeshiah Christa Cruz of Koronadal City won the grand prize, which was presented by UK Trade and Investment Director, Iain Mansfield.

British fashion has something to suit every taste and style, and the brands in this contest show that that quality doesn鈥檛 have to come with a hefty price tag. Audiences were treated to a runway show featuring quality British apparel available in the Philippines. Conceptualised as a showcase of accessible fashion, the models who strutted the catwalk were everyday people and British diplomats.
14 GREAT British brands participated: Burton, Clarks, Debenhams, Essensuals, French Sole, Lee Cooper, Marks & Spencer, MINI Lifestyle Products, ROOS, Speedo, Toni & Guy, Warehouse, and brands found in Toby鈥檚: Berghaus and Mitre.
