Prince Edward is the youngest son of Queen Elizabeth II. 皇冠体育app Prince arrived this morning of 3 October and will stay until midday on 4 October. Prince Edward will start his visit by paying a courtesy call on His Excellency the Acting President, Alexander Chikwanda MP.

皇冠体育app Duke of Edinburgh鈥檚 International Award Scheme was founded by Prince Edward鈥檚 father in 1956. 皇冠体育app Prince spends much of his time promoting the scheme, which now operates in more than 140 countries.

皇冠体育app scheme has been operating in Zambia since 2009. Approximately 200 young Zambians have so far taken part in the training programme offered by the scheme.

皇冠体育app Prince will assist His Honour the Vice-President in conferring Gold Awards, the highest level of the programme, to young Zambians.
He will also participate at a fund-raising dinner for the Award in Zambia.
