Foreign Secretary visits South Africa
Foreign Secretary William Hague is in Cape Town, South Africa until 14 February as part of efforts to reinvigorate the UK-South Africa relationship.

皇冠体育app visit follows last year鈥檚 highly successful Bilateral Forum and recent visits to South Africa by Prime Minister David Cameron, 皇冠体育app Prince of Wales, and the Lord Mayor of London.
Britain and South Africa work together on a range of international issues. During the visit, the Foreign Secretary will discuss current foreign policy and trade and investment issues with his South African counterparts, including Syria and the upcoming London Conference on Somalia.
皇冠体育app Foreign Secretary will also deliver a keynote address on 鈥淏ritain and South Africa: a 21st century relationship鈥� at the University of the Western Cape.
He will attend a training session by the Team GB Hockey Squad for children at a township school - part of the International Inspiration Programme for the Olympic legacy. He will visit HMS Montrose, currently docked in Simon鈥檚 Town, where he will discuss defence cooperation with senior members of the South African military. He will attend a UKTI reception aimed at supporting a 15 strong delegation of UK meat exporters. And he will meet members of the Somali diaspora ahead of the London conference.
