Apple Day celebrated in Moldova.

Deputy Head of Mission, Amy Sherwood was invited to appear on new talk show , on 21 October 2013. This coincided with the celebration of Apple Day in the UK. Amy was in the kitchen throughout the one and a half hour show, with Veranda presenter . She prepared a delicious traditional apple crumble and fresh custard. 皇冠体育app show, also hosted by , provided an entertaining opportunity for Amy to speak about her life as a British Diplomat in Chisinau, the activities of British Embassy in Moldova, football, and of course the GREAT campaign.
Amy took the Embassy鈥檚 Food is GREAT banner to the studio. She told viewers about British cheese, our love for apples and the fact that we encourage children to develop their knowledge and appreciation of food with cooking lessons at school. She reminisced that apple crumble was one of the first things she learnt to cook at school.
At the end of the show the TV crew and studio guests were delighted to relieve their hunger with Amy鈥檚 apple crumble. 皇冠体育appy mused that many Moldovan kitchens would now be filled with the aroma of apples and cinnamon. Amy chose a recipe using ingredients easily found in Moldova, so that viewers could attempt the dish at home.
