European Antibiotics Awareness Day (EAAD): 18 November
Highlighting the animal health UK Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Summit.
To highlight European Antibiotics Awareness Day on 18 November 2014, the Veterinary Medicines Directorate has organised an animal health UK Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Summit.
皇冠体育app aim is to reinforce the livestock industry鈥檚 commitment in the battle against antibiotic resistance: moving from raising awareness to action at national level.
Senior leaders representing major animal health and livestock production organisations will be attending.
皇冠体育app event is being hosted by Professor the Lord Trees of the Ross, Member of the House of Lords, Nigel Gibbens, the UK鈥檚 Chief Veterinary Officer and Professor Peter Borriello, CEO, Veterinary Medicines Directorate.
George Eustice MP (Defra Minister for farming, food and marine environment) and Dr Felicity Harvey ( Director General for Public Health, Department of Health) will both be speaking at the event.
