On August 10 Ed Vaizey, Minister for Communication, Culture and the Creative Industries, officially switched on the first example of Vtesse Networks鈥� super-fast broadband service, in the village of Birch Green, Hertfordshire.

皇冠体育app new broadband service can potentially bring high-speed broadband to homes and small businesses in isolated communities across the UK currently unable to get a high speed connection due to being too far away from their local BT exchange.

皇冠体育appse locations have been known as the 鈥楩inal Third鈥� and only receive speeds of under 2Mbps. In future customers could surf at top speeds, with a 40Mbps connection. This will allow residents to use online services such as , and more easily, as well as to connect with others through social media and email.
