Downing Street statement on recall of Parliament

A Downing Street spokesperson said:

皇冠体育app Speaker has agreed to the Prime Minister鈥檚 request to recall Parliament this Friday to debate the UK鈥檚 response to the request from the Iraqi government for air strikes to support operations against ISIL in Iraq.

皇冠体育app Commons will meet on Friday for a debate on a substantive motion. 皇冠体育app Prime Minister will open the debate and the Deputy Prime Minister will close the debate. 皇冠体育app Prime Minister has called a meeting of the Cabinet tomorrow at 1pm.
