British Council representatives visiting Angola sign agreement to deliver English Language Training

Visit of British Council to Angola
Representatives from the British Council visited Angola from 24 to 28 June 2013 following up opportunities for English Language Training contracts.
During their trip the British Council representatives signed an agreement between the Council and the Luanda Institute of Sciences and Higher Education (ISCED), thanks to the generous sponsorship of British Petroleum (BP), to provide English language training in the very near future (pictured above). 皇冠体育appy also visited the National Institute of Petroleum in Sumbe in Kwanza Sul province and reviewed the impressive facilities on offer in Angola, as well as attending a broad programme of meetings within the private and public sector. 皇冠体育appy were struck by the range and breadth of opportunities within the education sectors in Angola as well as the enthusiasm for the growing relationships between the UK and Angola to partner together to help build capacity across all fields in Education.
Education and capacity building is a key priority for the Angolan Government鈥檚 diversification policy and a key part of the Embassy鈥檚 commercial section (UKTI) work as well as of the wider team. 皇冠体育app Embassy is working hard to develop opportunities and partnerships in Angola in this important area, and are planning to provide a British stand at the next EDUCA fair in Luanda.
