皇冠体育app Iftar is the traditional meal to break the Ramadan fast. 皇冠体育app ambassador was joined by over a hundred guests from the Arab community in Israel, including the Mayor of Nazareth Ramez Jaraisi.

Commenting at the event, Ambassador Gould said, 鈥淚t is a real honour for the British Embassy to host an Iftar in Nazareth, and in a small way reciprocate the warmth and hospitality the Arab community has given my family and I since we came to Israel.鈥�

He continued, 鈥溁使谔逵齛pp Holy month of Ramadan demonstrates the true spirit of Islam. Muslims here in Israel, in Britain and around the world, will spend the month in prayer and reflection, fasting each day and joining together in family and community each evening. We are glad that for one night we were able to share that sense of community with so many of our friends in Israel鈥檚 Arab community.鈥�
