Alun Cairns is set to make the call when he addresses a meeting of CBI Wales鈥� quarterly council.

As business leaders, you are the people best qualified to make a success of Brexit - you are the job creators and the experts in wealth creation.

Around 30 of the country鈥檚 top executives will be at the CBI session, which is being held at the General Dynamics plant in Blackwood.

Mr Cairns will also say:

As Secretary of State for Wales I will ensure Wales is at the heart of Brexit discussions.

As the UK prepares for the complex task of negotiating our departure from the European Union, we want the UK and Welsh Governments to work closely with business, sending the signal, loud and clear, that Wales is well and truly open for business.

Firms want to continue trading easily with our EU neighbours, take advantage of any new opportunities for trade around the world and ensure they can access global talent, while being mindful of public concerns around immigration.

Mr Cairns is later due to travel to Saab UK in Wiltshire to see the latest innovations in defence and security technology.
