AAIB Report: Boeing 737-8K5 wheel separation on landing
Shortly after a normal touchdown, the right outer mainwheel separated from its axle and was seen, by the pilots, to pass down the right side of the aircraft.

After the aircraft slowed to approximately 80 knots the co-pilot handed control to the commander. At approximately 60 knots the pilots became aware of an object overtaking them at high speed, on the right, along the edge of the runway.
