Consultation description
皇冠体育app Treasury launched an 8 week policy consultation on the Transposition of the Fourth Money Laundering Directive and Fund Transfer Regulation in September. 皇冠体育appse aim to give effect to the updated global Financial Action Task Force (FATF) standards.
皇冠体育app government sought views and evidence on the steps it proposed to take or should take, to transpose the Fourth Money Laundering Directive (4MLD) and those aspects of the Fund Transfer Regulation (FTR) that need to be transposed into national law.
This document gives an outline of the responses submitted and the government鈥檚 policy decisions positions following the consultation, and is accompanied by draft regulations.
皇冠体育app government welcomes views on the further policy questions posed in the document, as well as on the draft Money Laundering Regulations 2017, in particular on whether the drafting delivers the government鈥檚 stated aims.
